The Spoken Word

The spoken word is very powerful.  The spoken word is so powerful  that many times we create things we don't want to create.  This is important information that we tend to forget.

Several years ago, I was in intense pain from fibromyalgia and an injury I had received in a fall.  During that time, I requested to know why my body was not healing.  I was told that I needed to watch my words.

As I went over statements I had been saying, I realized why I was not healing.  "I am TIRED of this pain."  "I HURT."  "This is getting OLD."  What I  was manifesting was being  TIRED,
HURTING, and feeling OLD.

The same happens when we are having financial problems.  You worry about how you are going to pay your bills.  'I am tired of being BROKE."  "  I DON'T HAVE the money to pay this bill."  "I can't afford to buy that." etc.

What we need to do is to find PEACE in the situation we are facing.  By finding peace with the fact that you are in pain, broke, lonely, etc., you are able to stop fighting it and reach a point of acceptance.  When you are fighting your issues, worrying about them, or struggling to change them, things get worse.  You are manifesting more of what you don't want.  When you are able to find inner peace with your issues, you become more relaxed, calmer, and you
stop struggling.

Once you find this inner peace, everything starts to change.  Solutions you never thought of before present themselves, opportunities which weren't there before, etc.  Your pain will decrease, your finances will improve, you will meet new friends, etc.  By finding inner peace, you can weather any storm with a sense of calm and trust.

The Law of Attraction

The definition of the Law of Attraction is "I attract to my life whatever I give my attention, energy and focus to, whether positive or negative." Every moment of every day, we are sending out energy. If we send out positive energy, we bring positive things into our life. If we send out negative energy, we bring negative things into our life.

This is the basic meaning of the Law of Attraction.

What do you spend your day focusing on? Are you focused on lack of money, lack of a relationship, or just lack in general? If you are focused on what you don't have, you will bring more of not having into your life.

If you spend your day focusing on the things you do have - a house to live in, clothes to wear, food to eat, friends, etc., you will bring more of these things into your life.

The epitome of the Law of Attraction is staying centered in Trust, knowing that everything is there for you. This is a difficult state to reach, but when you can stay trusting, good things flow to you effortlessly. The moment you lose your trust and begin to worry, it all crumbles.

I am able to reach the state of total trust for short times, but invariably worry and fear find their way in, especially since Samantha died. When I stay in a state of total Trust, good flows easily. When I stumble for a moment as I did last week, negative experiences start happening.

To know whether you are in a positive vibration or a negative vibration, pay attention to how you feel. Do you feel good, happy, carefree? Then you are in a positive vibration, sending out positive energy and attracting positive experiences. Do you feel stressed, fearful, unhappy? Then you are in a negative vibration, sending out negative energy and attracting negative experiences.
